Back to school last week. Despite the fact that I enjoyed talking to the students and my colleagues again, it took noticeably energy to teach for the first time. I prepared the lessons much better and in more detail than I am used to, it was \u201cwork\u201d and did not happen automatically. Clearly a new sensation for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breeding is still going reasonably well to my liking, even though I don't have my planning in order again. I let the kites do free coupling, but the search for a partner and the laying went so smoothly that I was not able to submit many eggs from the breeders. And so we learn every year, so pair the kites a week later next year. I had 23\/24 couples with 11 days on eggs and checking yesterday only showed fertilized eggs. So that's fine.
