As indicated earlier, in 2021 I decided to purchase a number of pigeons from Gerard Koopman. You can already write a number of blogs about this choice alone, for me the main reason was the fact that many people have already succeeded with their pigeons in the one day long distance. Whether that will also happen here will show in the coming years. Last year I was able to house the pigeons at a guest address and picked them up halfway through this year to give them plenty of time to get used to my loft (culture).
They are now coupled and I am waiting for the first eggs. After they had gone through the moult well, I brought them with me Louis van Zuijlen photographed, the result is again very satisfactory.
